Harris Tweed is handwoven at the homes of islanders from Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra, in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. The cloth is made from pure virgin wool and is also dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.

As well as being tactile, breathable, warm, sustainable and versatile, Harris Tweed is also naturally water resistant and lightweight. This is why it was the material of choice for so many of the early mountaineers and Antarctic explorers and what makes it an ideal choice for bags, even today.
